In 1989, the substantial American market was the trigger to found
an affiliated company in Everett – in the state of Washington.
To begin with, the company imported galleys, carts and video systems
from Fällanden but now operates fully independently. What links
the companies today is the lively transfer of information and know-how.
Specific findings from the USA or Switzerland flow into both engineering
offices and production lines thus optimising the Bucher products
worldwide. 40 employees work at Bucher Aerospace Corporation. Galleys,
carts and in-seat video deployment systems are produced on the latest
CAD systems for the North and South American markets.
